  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or line it with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Place the diced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. Spread the cooked ground beef over the potatoes evenly.
  4. Add Cheese and Soup: Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the beef and potatoes, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Do not stir.
