A delightful dish that requires minimal preparation and packs a punch of flavor thanks to a bright and zesty citrus marinade, perfect for busy families.
Ingredients
Scale:
4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon zesty pork chop seasoning
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice, zesty pork chop seasoning, and soy sauce. Whisk until well blended.
Place the boneless pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2 hours.
Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Reserve the marinade for later. Place the pork chops in the slow cooker in a single layer.
Pour the reserved marinade over the pork chops. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the pork is fork-tender.
Remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with a drizzle of the remaining sauce.
