Beef Lo Mein is a classic dish that combines tender beef and colorful vegetables with Chinese stir-fried noodles, creating a savory beef noodle dish that’s perfect for any weeknight dinner.

8 ounces of flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
8 ounces of fresh lo mein noodles (or cooked spaghetti)
1 cup of bell peppers, sliced
1 cup of carrots, julienned
1 cup of snow peas or snap peas
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of minced ginger
Chopped green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch mixture until smooth.
Place a large wok or a skillet over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
Add the marinated beef to the wok and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
In the same wok, add the sliced bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes.
Return the cooked beef to the wok with the vegetables. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and pour in the prepared sauce. Toss everything together.
Transfer the Beef Lo Mein to serving plates and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
