These bite-sized wonders are a fusion of classic taco flavors encased in crispy baked shells, making them perfect for parties, game nights, or even a quick family dinner.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
12 taco-sized tortillas
1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Stir in the taco seasoning along with 2/3 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Cut the tortillas into smaller rounds that fit into the muffin tin cups.
Press each tortilla round into a muffin tin cup, fill each shell with the taco meat mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
Once baked, remove the taco cups from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the tin, and serve hot with your choice of toppings.
