12 jumbo pasta shells
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup steamed broccoli, chopped finely
1 large egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. This usually takes about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped steamed broccoli, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Using a spoon, carefully fill each cooked pasta shell with the cheesy broccoli filling. Place the filled shells in a baking dish.
