Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 large egg
1/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for stuffing)
1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, egg, and milk. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
Take a small portion of the meat mixture (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten it in your hand. Place a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center, then fold the meat around the cheese and roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Place the cheese-st■ meatloaf bites on a lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced evenly.
In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth.
Brush the ketchup mixture over the meatloaf bites generously.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the tops are nicely caramelized. They should reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
