A delicious, creamy cheese ball made with chipped beef, cream cheese, and a medley of herbs, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 oz chipped beef, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dill, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts, optional)
Fresh herbs for garnishing
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well incorporated and smooth.
Gently fold in the chopped chipped beef into the cheese mixture using a spatula until evenly distributed.
Add the chopped parsley, chives, and dill to the mixture, folding them in gently.
Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands. If sticky, dampen your hands with water to make molding easier.
Wrap the formed cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
After chilling, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the chopped pecans, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the cheese ball on a serving platter, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetable sticks.
