This recipe for corn on the cob with seasoning enhances the natural sweetness of the corn and offers a delightful burst of flavor that makes it a standout side dish.
Ingredients
Scale:
4 ears of fresh sweet corn
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375-450°F) or the oven to 400°F.
Pour melted butter over the corn and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly. Coat thoroughly.
Grill the corn directly on the grill grates for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
For oven roasting, place the seasoned corn on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and roast for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
Remove the corn and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
