Ingredients
Scale:
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup of gluten-free all-purpose flour (or regular flour)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup water (or non-dairy milk)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted coconut oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Vegan ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) if roasting or prepare your air fryer according to its instructions.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Gradually whisk in the water (or non-dairy milk) until you have a smooth batter.
Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and stir until each piece is well-coated with the batter.
If using the oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the battered florets in a single layer.
Drizzle olive oil or melted coconut oil over the top of the florets.
Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
