Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups noodles (such as rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until it is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the chopped bell pepper and cook until it is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), hoisin sauce, and grated ginger to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the flavors have melded together.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to combine with the beef and vegetable mixture.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds (if using).
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
