  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the sliced red and yellow bell peppers to the skillet. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for an additional 5-7 minutes until the peppers are tender.
  4. Return the sausages to the skillet. Sprinkle the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper over the mix. Stir to combine and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the flavors meld together.
  5. Once the sausages are fully cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and, if desired, a touch of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
