A creamy fudge that combines the richness of chocolate with the bold flavor of coffee, requiring only three simple ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup (6 oz) chocolate chips
1 cup (8 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
Instructions
Prepare the slow cooker: Set your slow cooker to low heat. Optionally, line the bottom with parchment paper for easier removal.
Melt the chocolate: Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk into the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
Incorporate the coffee: Add the instant coffee granules to the mixture and stir until evenly combined.
Cook: Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on low for about 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
Check for doneness: The fudge should be smooth and creamy. Once melted, turn off the slow cooker and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Set the fudge: Pour the mixture into a prepared 8x8-inch baking dish and spread it evenly. Optionally, add a sprinkle of sea salt or crushed nuts on top.
Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to cut into squares.
