Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Amish Ground Beef Noodles

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the diced onion to the skillet with the ground beef and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the beef noodle soup mix (or your homemade equivalent) to the skillet, stirring to combine with the beef and onion mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your slow cooker.
  5. Add the egg noodles on top of the beef mixture in the slow cooker.
  6. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours, until the noodles are tender and the flavors have melded together.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh herbs if desired, such as parsley or thyme.
