Ingredients
Scale:
2 to 3 pounds Beef Round Steak, cut into pieces
1 large Onion, sliced
1 can (10.5 ounces) Condensed Tomato Soup
1 cup Water
Instructions
Cut the beef round steak into 2-inch pieces. Trim any excess fat.
In the slow cooker, layer the sliced onions at the bottom.
Pour the condensed tomato soup evenly over the beef.
Add 1 cup of water to the slow cooker.
If desired, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Check the consistency of the gravy. If it's too thin, thicken it by cooking without the lid for an additional 30 minutes.
Once the beef is fork-tender and the gravy is at your desired consistency, serve it hot.
