1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon rosewater
1/4 cup chopped Turkish delight
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the egg yolk and rosewater to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until fully incorporated.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chopped Turkish delight gently.
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoons, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Once cooled, dust the biscuits with powdered sugar.
