1 package of mozzarella cheese sticks or string cheese
1 package of bacon (thicker slices work best)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Cut the mozzarella cheese sticks in half, if desired, to create smaller cheese bombs.
Wrap each cheese stick with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary. Make sure the bacon is wrapped tightly around the cheese to prevent it from coming loose during cooking.
Dip each bacon-wrapped cheese bomb in the beaten egg and then roll it in a plate of water to create a thin, even coating.
Place the Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Bombs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each bomb.
Drizzle the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. If using, add chopped herbs or spices for extra flavor.
