Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz egg noodles
8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red and green for color)
1 cup snap peas or snow peas
1 cup carrots, julienned
½ cup green onions, chopped
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Start by cooking the egg noodles according to package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the lo mein sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Ensure the oil is hot before adding the beef.
Add the thinly sliced flank steak to the wok and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
In the same wok, add the bell peppers, snap peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the cooked beef to the wok, then add the drained egg noodles and pour in the prepared lo mein sauce. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
Finally, stir in the chopped green onions, mixing them in just before serving for freshness. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
