Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the egg noodles according to package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the lo mein sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Ensure the oil is hot before adding the beef.
  4. Add the thinly sliced flank steak to the wok and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
  5. In the same wok, add the bell peppers, snap peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the wok, then add the drained egg noodles and pour in the prepared lo mein sauce. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  7. Finally, stir in the chopped green onions, mixing them in just before serving for freshness. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
