These delightful morsels combine the creamy richness of cream cheese with the tart, vibrant flavor of cranberry sauce, all wrapped in flaky, golden crescent roll pastry.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Fresh rosemary or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Open the cans of crescent roll dough and unroll them, sealing any perforations to create solid sheets of dough.
Slice each rectangle of dough into 12 equal squares for a total of 24 squares.
Place a generous tablespoon of the cream cheese and cranberry filling in the center of each square.
Fold each corner of the square toward the center and pinch the edges to seal.
Place the sealed bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
