A delightful, bite-sized treat that captures the essence of fall, featuring flaky crescent rolls filled with warm, cinnamon-spiced apple filling.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the apple pie filling, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, and separate the triangles along the perforated lines.
Place a heaping tablespoon of the apple filling mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough from the wide end to the tip, sealing the edges.
Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
In a separate bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping.
Brush the tops of each crescent with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping over each one.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and p■ up.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
