4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons instant yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups warm water (about 110°F)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup cooked sausage or ground beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup chopped bell peppers
½ cup sliced olives
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Optional: 1 cup spinach leaves
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Add warm water and olive oil, mix until a rough dough forms.
Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes.
Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Punch down the dough and roll into a 12x18 inch rectangle.
Spread sausage, mozzarella, bell peppers, olives, oregano, and garlic powder on the dough.
Roll the dough into a tight log and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
